These 4 men were the latest recipients of the Steve Bryan Medal of Honor, presented last month at our BoB Open House meeting at Matt Darnell’s home.  This award is presented in memory of our great friend and brother in Christ, Steve Bryan, who went to heaven on March 30th, 2016.  These 4 men are making a significant impact on God’s Kingdom through their relationship with the Band of Brothers and we are blessed by them.

From left to right:

  1. Phil Andrews – Phil has been with the BoB for about a year now, but his fearless heart and evangelistic spirit have ignited and united us.  He is leading the monthly “Open House” meetings which have been wildly successful.  He is also an active participant at our Grace Center’s Men’s Ministry and the Detroit Lion’s Academy.
  2. Jay Byrd – Jay dreams big and thinks big.  God has given him a gift of apostleship and leadership that is undeniable.  Jay’s vision for the Grace Centers of Hope Women and Children’s Center led to a legendary GALA event last year that produced about $30,000 for the program.  Jay is also very active in the Grace Centers Men’s recovery program and has opened his home for events in the past.
  3. Don McGinlay – Don is a Knight.  If a mission needs to be executed, Don is the guy that jumps in to contribute.  He has amazing gifts of helps, giving, and hospitality.  His fighting spirit was instrumental in our success funding a fresh water well for the Pokots in Kenya, and the Grace Centers of Hope GALA last year.  He regularly opens his home for fellowship events and has a heart of gold for everyone he comes in contact with.
  4. Rick Rosen – If you ever want to learn how to bring God to work with you every day, look no further than Rick.  His gifts of faith, prayer, giving, along with prophecy and healing have impacted everyone around him in ways that even Rick never expected.  I would never ever count Rick Rosen out.  He is a fighter, a prayer warrior, and an overcomer.  His leadership of the Grace Center’s Men’s Recovery program has been nothing short of miraculous.  “The best is yet to come”, right Rick?
